41 Hit Wonderful Outfits: Week 4

Tomorrow is the 11th annual Rootin' Tootin' Chili Cook-Off benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbia. I know that doesn't seem relevant to my weekly outfit post, but what you can't comprehend is how much work we put into our chili booth. We have about five guys working all day during the week leading up to the event, and a clan of others who put in two to four hours a night after their normal day job. If you happen to have a good eye for color, a steady hand for painting and a bossy streak when it comes to getting shit done, then you are probably definitely putting in a lot of extra hours. Starting work at 8:00 a.m., leaving to help with the booth around 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. and painting/crafting/bossing until 8:00 p.m. every night doesn't leave much time for detailed self-care. AKA: fixing hair, shaving legs or being in complicated/accessorized outfits.

So, please cut me some slack this week - it was a doozy.
